We know there are a few on this forum who think they are, but consider this for a while. If you are God, you are omniscient, therefore you have nothing to learn. Nothing to research, investigate or explore as there is nothing you don’t already know. No point exercising your skills against the ultimate chess master in the universe because you already know every possible move and outcome.
You are also omnipotent, so nothing you can’t do, nothing challenges you. You can build a universe as easily as clicking your fingers (or whatever you have for fingers).
You are also infinite. You had no beginning and will have no end. Before you created your first companion (Jesus if you like) you had already existed an infinite number of years all on your own. We’re not talking about zillions of years here, but a period infinitely longer than that. Zillions to the power zillions to the power zillions of millennia is still not even a nano-second when laid alongside infinity. Endless time with no one to talk to, no one to associate with, no sycophants to bow down before, no one to tell you how great you are, and of course, no one to slaughter.
How do you fill an infinite number of years being all knowing, all powerful and all alone? And when you do create someone, unless you create them equally omniscient, you will be infinitely cleverer than them. So Einstein with imbeciles for peers will be nothing compared to you and your peers. And if you’ve already lived an infinity of years without company, why start? -

Apart from leaving Afghanistan, I don't know what Trump's plan was, but I doubt it was the mess Biden has created. I'm no fan of Trump, but I don't think he would have made such a colossal mess of it like Biden has. Some of what he has done this past few months beggers belief.
Am I glad the US is pulling out of Afghanistan? In an ideal world no, I would have preferred Afghanistan in a stable, democratic state before the US/NATO coalition did that. But as that wasn't the plan when they went in, and as that would take a lot longer than 20 years to achieve, pulling out is no surprise. I feel very sorry for the average Afghan, they were obviously expecting Western support for the long haul, and I'm sorry they have lost that.

The only bit I mentioned twice was the corruption in the Afghan nation building process. Sure Biden has mismanaged this mess all on his own, but it was still Trump who started negotiations with the Taliban, and pointing it out is not propagandizing. But I guess to a sensitive Trump worshipper, anything that doesn't paint Trump as the saviour sent by God to save America has to be deleted. As for propagandizing multiple times, well, you're a fine one to talk.

Yep, you've have to be a complete dumb-ass to enter into negotiations with the Taliban and trust them to abide by anything.
Truth is, all US Administrations from Bush to Biden have been dismal failures in Afghanistan for the simple reason they have not addressed the fundamental reason the Afghan Army proved so useless – corruption! While senior military figures were pocketing millions from ghost soldiers, real soldiers were going unpaid. And the response from US/NATO??? Throw more money at it.

by Rocketman123 inmany that have come to this forum have left the jws religion and moved on with their lives but from a outsider's viewpoint what do think makes the jws religion wrong or incorrect as a active christian faith ?.
somethings come to mind such as its long continuous end times/armageddon soon doctrine which has really been a core doctrine for decades going right back to its beginning .. maybe they should have adopted the stance as other christian based faiths and adhered to jesus's own words when he said " no one knows of the time not even he ".

i could tell by the look on his face he did not like that site and then could not help himself and said that he could not recommend going to this site.

He may be a dick, but I don’t remember him being particularly insufferable when he was here. So he makes a living exposing TTATT, I hope he continues doing so for many years to come. His web site and UTube channel played a huge role in waking my born-in niece after over five decades of Watchtower indoctrination, and that’s something this site can no longer do. I agree with him, I couldn’t recommend this site to newly awakening dubs, it no longer does what it says on the tin.

Not exactly demon possession JeffT, but back in the 80s a sister who had watched an episode of the late Paul Daniels magic show told me a week or so later that, "There was no way he could have done that trick without the help of the demons. Absolutely no way". I hadn't seen the show so I couldn't possibly comment!
In our congo in London there was only one sister who attributed virtually every mishap to the demons, the rest of us would find more rational explanations and hardly ever brought the subject up. That was back in the 70s and 80's so a lot could have changed since then.

even though this site is not pro jw , if someone wants to ask a question or try to understand a point of view, there are many here who over the years have tried to help sincere witnesses.
if i believe someone is here just trying to push buttons, i will either ignore them or actually question their motives.

There is also a third group – the deluded. Those who believe they are some kind of modern day prophet, and they come here to spout their visions hoping someone will listen. Although this group is not limited to Jehovah’s Witnesses, those that come here are, or were. This group have a genuine delusion, a genuine mental health problem, but feel free to tell them to fuck off if you want. I believe that’s standard practice for such people on this forum.
